Why choose Invisalign in Houston with a Diamond Provider?

Invisalign straightens teeth with a series of clear, removable aligners instead of brackets and wires. At Lush Dental Heights in Houston, treatment is planned by Dr. Pasha Noorian, an Invisalign Diamond Provider, and starts with a free consultation and a digital iTero scan that previews your new smile.

What Invisalign can treat: crowding, gaps, overbite, underbite, crossbite, and teeth that have shifted after braces. The aligners are thin, nearly invisible, and come out for eating, brushing, and flossing, so there is no change to your diet and no wires to poke your cheeks. Most adults and teens with mild to moderate alignment issues are candidates; severe bite problems may still need braces, and we will tell you which at the consultation. Our post, Am I a good candidate for Invisalign?, covers the common questions.

Why a Diamond Provider matters: Align Technology awards Diamond status to dentists who treat a high volume of Invisalign cases each year, so you are treated by a dentist who plans aligner cases every week, not occasionally. Dr. Noorian is also a member of the American Academy of Clear Aligners (AACA) and has completed the Reingage Part I and II advanced aligner courses. Every case begins with an iTero digital scan, no goopy impressions, and the scan shows a preview of where your teeth can move before you commit.

Invisalign vs. braces: braces are fixed, visible, and require you to avoid sticky and hard foods; aligners are removable, discreet, and easier to keep clean, which matters for gum health over a year of treatment. Braces can still be the better tool for complex bite corrections. In cost, Invisalign is usually comparable to braces, and our all-inclusive new-patient offer on this page spells out exactly what is included.

Cost, insurance, and financing: the price depends on how complex your case is and how many aligners it needs, and you get the full figure at your free consultation, with nothing hidden. Many dental plans with orthodontic benefits contribute toward Invisalign, and we are happy to help you check your coverage. Financing is available through Cherry, CareCredit, Sunbit, and HFD, pending approval. See our guide to what to expect at your first Invisalign consultation before you come in.

Straightening is one of several cosmetic dentistry routes to a better-looking smile, and it pairs well with teeth whitening once your aligners are done. We see Invisalign patients from across Houston, including River Oaks, Garden Oaks, Rice Military, and Greater Heights.

The benefits of Invisalign clear aligners

Removable, so life carries on

Take the aligners out to eat, drink, brush, and floss, then put them back in. No food restrictions, no threading floss around wires, and no emergency visits for a broken bracket.

Nearly invisible and comfortable

The aligners are made of thin, clear SmartTrack plastic trimmed to your gum line, so most people will not notice you are wearing them. There are no metal brackets or wires to rub your cheeks and lips.

Planned and previewed digitally

Your treatment is mapped on an iTero scan before it starts, so you can see the expected result and the number of aligners up front. Many cases finish in 12 to 18 months, and minor corrections can be quicker.

The Invisalign treatment process

Free consultation and iTero scan

Dr. Noorian examines your bite and smile and takes a digital iTero scan of your teeth. The scan builds a 3D model that previews how your teeth can move, and you leave knowing whether Invisalign is right for you, how long it should take, and what it will cost.

Aligner pick-up

Once you approve the plan, your custom aligners are made from the scan and arrive at our office a few weeks later. At pick-up we fit the first set, show you how to wear and care for them, and explain the schedule for moving to the next aligners.

Check-ins and retainers

You wear each set for 20 to 22 hours a day and come in every six weeks or so to collect the next few aligners and let us check that your teeth are moving on track. When treatment is complete, we provide retainers to hold your new smile, with the option of Vivera retainers.

Post-Treatment Care for Your Invisalign Trays

To ensure the best results from your Invisalign treatment, please follow these guidelines:

Wear your trays 24/7: Keep your trays in for all activities such as eating, sleeping, and during the day except when brushing your teeth or cleaning your trays. Minimize your intake of sugary or acidic foods and drinks.

Broken trays: If your tray breaks, continue wearing the previous one until you can contact us for guidance.

Lost trays: Losing a tray typically means it wasn't being worn as instructed. If this happens, wear the last tray you have and call us for further instructions.

Attachments: If any attachments are lost, we will replace them during your next appointment unless specified otherwise.

Gum irritation: If you experience gum discomfort, use ortho wax, which is available at most pharmacies.

Soreness relief: Mild discomfort is normal during treatment. If needed, you can take Motrin, Advil, or Ibuprofen as long as you have no medical contraindications. Please consult your physician if you're unsure.

Avoid staining foods: Steer clear of foods with yellow dyes such as turmeric, mustard, and mac & cheese as they can stain your trays.

Retainers: After treatment, we provide a set of retainers, with the option to purchase Vivera retainers (highly recommended).

Cleaning: Bring your retainers to future appointments so we can clean them.

If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to call us at 713-487-9618.

Frequently Asked Questions

Invisalign is usually priced comparably to traditional braces, and the exact cost depends on how complex your case is and how many aligners it takes. We publish an all-inclusive new-patient Invisalign offer on this page, and you receive the full figure for your own case at your free consultation, with nothing hidden.

Many dental plans with orthodontic benefits cover part of Invisalign treatment, and we are happy to help you check your coverage before you decide. Financing is available through Cherry, CareCredit, Sunbit, and HFD, pending approval, which spreads the cost into a monthly payment.

Many cases finish in 12 to 18 months, and minor corrections, such as teeth that have shifted after braces, can take less. More complex bite corrections take longer. Your iTero scan gives us an estimated timeline and the number of aligners before you start.

The biggest factor you control is wear time: aligners work only while they are in, so 20 to 22 hours a day keeps your treatment on schedule, and skipping days adds time at the end.

Yes. Your first Invisalign consultation at Lush Dental Heights is complimentary and includes a digital iTero scan, so you can see a preview of your potential smile before deciding anything. You can book it as an in-office visit or request a virtual consultation using the form on this page.

There is no obligation. You will leave knowing whether you are a candidate, roughly how long treatment would take, and what it would cost.

Your aligners are made from the digital iTero scan of your teeth. Align Technology plans each stage of movement from that scan, then prints a model for every stage and forms an aligner over it. The plastic is SmartTrack, a material developed specifically for Invisalign that is FDA-cleared and free of BPA, BPS, latex, and gluten.

Each aligner is trimmed to your gum line for a smooth fit. Because the whole series is made at the start, you collect several sets at each check-in and change to the next one on the schedule we give you.

The aligners are nearly invisible. They are made of clear plastic and fitted precisely to your teeth and gum line, with no brackets or wires, so most people will not notice them even up close.

Two things can make them more visible: eating or drinking anything other than water with them in, which stains the plastic, and small tooth-colored attachments that are sometimes bonded to teeth to help them move. We will tell you at the consultation whether your case needs attachments.

Often, in part. If your dental plan includes orthodontic benefits, it usually treats Invisalign the same way as braces and contributes up to its orthodontic lifetime maximum. Plans without orthodontic coverage do not typically pay toward aligners.

We are happy to help you check your benefits before you decide, and any coverage is applied to your treatment cost. Whatever your plan covers, the balance can be financed through Cherry, CareCredit, Sunbit, or HFD, pending approval, and our all-inclusive offer on this page shows what is included in the price.

No. Invisalign aligners are designed to move your teeth, not to protect them, and the thin plastic is not built to absorb the force of grinding. If you grind, you may notice the aligners wearing down or cracking, which is itself a sign of bruxism worth mentioning to us.

Grinding does not rule out Invisalign; we simply plan around it. Once treatment is finished, a custom night guard protects both your teeth and your results, and Vivera retainers are more durable than aligners for night-time wear.

Contact us the same day. Depending on where you are in the series, we may have you move on to the next aligner early or go back to the previous one so your teeth do not drift while a replacement is made. Leaving the gap unaddressed can set your treatment back by weeks.

A cracked aligner can usually be worn for a day or two until the next set, but a lost one should be replaced; replacements are ordered from Align and arrive in a couple of weeks. Keeping your previous set in its case is the easiest insurance against this.

Rinse them whenever you take them out, and brush them gently with a soft toothbrush and clear, unscented soap or a mild toothpaste when you brush your teeth. Rinse with lukewarm water only; hot water can warp the plastic.

Keep them in their case when they are out of your mouth, not in a napkin, and brush your own teeth before putting them back in so food is not trapped against your enamel. Drinks other than water, including coffee, tea, and wine, should be enjoyed with the aligners out, as they stain the plastic.

Plan on 20 to 22 hours a day, taking the aligners out only to eat, drink anything other than water, brush, and floss. Each set moves your teeth a small, planned amount, and it can only do that while it is in.

Wearing them less than the recommended time slows the movement, can leave the next aligner fitting poorly, and adds time to your treatment. If your schedule makes that hard, tell us and we will plan accordingly.

Invisalign is generally more comfortable than braces, but moving teeth involves some pressure. You will usually feel tightness or tenderness for a day or two after switching to a new aligner, which is the sign that it is working. There are no wires or brackets to cut your cheeks.

Over-the-counter pain relief and switching to a new set at bedtime, so the first hours pass while you sleep, make the adjustment easier. Any sharp edge on an aligner can be smoothed with a nail file or by us.

If you have mild to moderate crowding, spacing, or a bite issue, and your teeth and gums are healthy, you are likely a good candidate. Gum disease or untreated decay is handled first, and the iTero scan at your free consultation confirms what Invisalign can do for your specific teeth.

Invisalign is not right for everyone. Severe bite problems, very rotated teeth, or cases needing large movements may still be better served by braces, and we will tell you honestly if that is the case. Teens and adults are both treated; the main requirement is wearing the aligners for the recommended hours.
